Our path
From four decades
of hotel practice.
The felix product line started on the first computers to reach the hospitality industry. felixUnity is the AI-native rebuild, developed by the same house that has kept the predecessor running in live operations for more than 40 years.
- 1980
felix begins.
The felix product line starts on CTM systems in Munich and Salzburg, among the first computer-based hotel solutions in German-speaking Europe.
- 1998
GMS is founded.
Heinrich and Ulrich Hutter found GMS Softwaremanufaktur in Salzburg. Sepp Lankmayer is on board from the start.
- Later
The management grows.
Sepp Lankmayer and Markus Reiterer join the management and shape GMS across sales and day-to-day operations.
- 2026
felixUnity goes live.
The AI-native rebuild of felix runs in the first houses in production, built on four decades of hotel practice.
